What is Intuitive Balance and how can it help me or my companion animal?
Each session is tailored to allow the body to begin to relax and start healing. Because every body responds differently, a specific injury may involve several sessions. Frequently older injuries may "surface", which may indicate the body needs to heal in these areas first before moving to the more immediate problem. The body's wisdom in self-healing can be seen in these instances. Often times older injuries that resurface will take care of themselves rapidly. Many clients then find their current issues resolved in a remarkably short period of time. Some choose to have a "tune-up" periodically or come in after a re-injury. Once the body has been brought back into balance, many people describe a stronger, more enhanced awareness of their body. This awareness only increases as our bodies continue to heal themselves.
Self healing is possible if the body is given the right tools. The wisdom is there, waiting to be used. Experience Intuitive Balance and see how wise the body truly is!
About Karin:
Karin began her journey as a healing practitioner in 2001, after a cycling injury. She was referred to a Bowen therapist and after her initial session, saw immediate results. After several sessions, her injury was completely healed and older sports-related injuries had disappeared as well. Her curiousity led her to take coursework with Dr. Lise Maltais, N.D. of Comox, British Columbia, for two years to learn the Bowen technique. Karin's love of animals led her to Carol Bennet of Durango, Colorado, to study the Bowen technique for large and small animals. Learning the technique for both humans and animals became a passion for Karin and she continues to learn more through advanced coursework and by studying other healing art modalities. She feels her work is a gift and it is her calling to use these gifts to help others, both humans and animals.
